End of Summer Escape, Bubblefest coming up Friday

Summer is coming to a close, and school will be starting soon, so it’s time to celebrate with the Seymour Parks and Recreation Department’s annual End of Summer Escape and Bubblefest.

Join the department for one last hurrah from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Shields Park, 703 N. Park St., Seymour. No registration is required for this free event open to all.

There will be an inflatable obstacle course, a slide, bouncy houses and a lot of bubble activities. There also will be community resources, a drawing for free school supplies and free refreshments.

Sponsors are Beach Heating and Air Conditioning LLC, Cops and Kids and Jackson County Public Library.
