New York Native to Open for Guns N' Roses at SPAC
One the current Guns N' Roses tour a few different opening acts have been announced. Alice In Chains, the Pretenders and even Carrie Underwood will serve as special guests on certain dates. For the September 1st show at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) it will be a homecoming of sorts for the support act.
The Capital Region will be well represented Friday night at SPAC as the band Dirty Honey will open the show!
Niskayuna native Marc LaBelle is the lead singer for the Los Angeles based Rock band Dirty Honey and Marc will return home for a show at SPAC but this time, instead of being in the audience, he will be on stage in front of family, friends and fans.
This won't be Marc's first time on stage at SPAC. On September 14, 2021 Marc and Dirty Honey opened the show for the Black Crowes on the "Black Crowes Present: Shake Your Money Maker Tour". Prior to that show Labelle reminisced about attending shows as a fan and seeing artists such as Tom Petty, Aerosmith and even the Black Crowes. Check out our interview with Marc LaBelle below.
Dirty Honey will appear on at least 5 Guns N' Roses shows this summer. The band will have a new album "Can't Find the Brakes" released on November 3, 2023. Pre-Order the album HERE. The Friday September 1st show will mark the first time in 3 decades since Guns N' Roses last played SPAC.
